Raised on a dairy farm in Northeastern Iowa, Steve graduated from Iowa State University in 1973. Starting in the feed business and then managing grain elevators in Iowa and Nebraska, Steve developed an understanding of marketing. After being General Manager/Vice President of Hall Roberts’ Son, a wholesale/retail feed ingredients and animal health distributor, Steve returned to Elwood, Nebraska to start Progressive Marketing Strategies in 1990. By 1992, Progressive Marketing had become an
Introducing Broker for ADM Investor Services. Steve is a member of the National Futures Association and the Nebraska Grain & Feed Association. He also serves as a board member of the Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministry, Wartburg Theological Seminary, and the Churchwide Church Council of the ELCA.
Steve is a Trustee for the Village of Elwood.
